1. Summary
VyOS is the only fully open-source NOS supporting enterprise and NSP features such as BGP and DMVPN. Users can easily customize images and integrate value-added software. Since there’s no per-instance licensing, MSPs can use it to deploy cost-effective routers across a large customer base. It’s also a good fit for high-security environments where source code audit is required.
