“Technology cuts both ways: you can use it to replace or augment, to stalk or serve.”
Jerry Michalski helped shape the dot-com revolution. As the managing editor of the monthly newsletter Release 1.0, he brought topics like online community, instant messaging and blogging to the fore, while covering the precursors of today’s ubiquitous mobile commerce, deep learning and social media megaliths. Now he runs a think-and-do tank called REX, the Relationship Economy eXpedition, which focuses on the rediscovery of authentic relationships, meaning, trust and our many Commons. He also publishes his Brain online for all to use.
