Greycroft closes $175 million third fund

Greycroft Partners closed its third fund for $175 million, which it said will be used to fund B2B and B2C internet and mobile companies. The firm previously invested in the Huffington Post, Buddy Media, Vizu, Adenyo and Babble, which were all acquired.

Koding comes out of private beta, puts programming in the cloud

Koding has come out of private beta with a cloud-based development platform that allows programmers to immediately start building and testing out code, without having to worry about different development frameworks or things like domain management. The release follows a $2 million Series A financing round.
