She is a United States Marine veteran who transitioned into cybersecurity working for Lockheed Martin Computer Incident Response Team (CIRT). She gained in-depth knowledge performing threat hunting, incident response, and cyber-crime investigations. Rachel’s passion for cybersecurity led to her earning industry-recognized certifications, including CISSP, CCSP, GCFE and EnCE.
Rachel has been on the front line—as an incident commander—during active intrusions and protected organizations against damage or disruption from real threat actors. Due to Rachel’s first-hand, real-world, experience safeguarding Fortune 500 companies and SMBs she has earned several awards for leading and designing security programs that improved the security posture of multiple lines of businesses.
