Check your Nexus device now for the Android Lollipop update

Android Lollipop, the latest major version of Google’s mobile operating system, isn’t just for new devices like the Nexus 6 and Nexus 9. Starting today, Google is going to roll out over-the-air updates to certain devices, including the Nexus 4, Nexus 5, both Nexus 7 tablets and the Nexus 10. Google’s blog post doesn’t provide details on when Google Play Experience phones will get Lollipop, but they should eventually get it as well. To check whether if your device is eligible for an upgrade, go into the “About Phone” menu in the Settings app. You’ll find the option to upgrade to Lollipop under a menu labeled “Software Updates.”

Update 9/12: 9 days later, the official Android account tweeted out that the update is rolling out to Nexus devices. So if you’ve been checking, there’s light at the end of the tunnel.

Eagerly awaiting the update on Nexus 5 to see what it does to the snaploco app!

Nexus 7 (no update yet) 7:22
This sucks:\

Iam waiting for the update since this morning, nothing yet!!! Both N5 and N7s system say device is up to date. Whats going on?

Still waiting on my nexus 5 I’m guessing I won’t be getting the update for another couple days

Dont be cheated! No one has the Nexus 5 images. Only the Volantis and Fugu devices just received their factory images.

Is there a time when the update should happen? I have a Nexus 5 and no update yet.
