Microsoft follows Dropbox two-headed design

Microsoft is taking a page from Dropbox, and is merging the personal edition of OneDrive and OneDrive for Business into one client: the two-headed design. And it is taking the surprising step of making this new capability available first on its Android mobile client.

This does not merge the files into one account: they are separately managed in the cloud, and Microsoft’s design makes it clear which files are which.

Microsoft is taking its commitment to treating all OS’s equally pretty seriously it seems. It will be rolling out versions for iOS and Windows Phone devices in the coming months.
