It’s not exactly cheap, but an online shop launched by PocketQube today offers up all the components an individual or business would need to buy, design and launch their own satellite. CubeSat structures start at $499 and can be paired with a year-long partnership with a mentor and help finding a rocket to courier the satellite to space.
