Sony sells record-setting 2.1 million PlayStation 4 units in 2 weeks

After selling more than 1 million PlayStation 4 units on the first day of sales in North America alone, Sony(s sne) has gone on to sell more than an additional million units over the last two weeks. Sony on Tuesday announced that its next-generation console has sold more than 2.1 million units worldwide since its November 15 debut. According to Sony Computer Entertainment president and group CEO Andrew House, “It’s an impressive and record-setting accomplishment for our company and for our industry.”

The PS4 sold out in days here, and then came back with limited stock in the shops.
We got one by pre-ordering and it is awesome

The controllers are brilliant, wireless, dual shock, touch pad, head phone socket and really nice design, much nicer than the Xbox 1 in my opinion

The impressive part is the availability. I recall the PS2 and the Wii had limited availability from launch until around march.
