If you’ve been hoping to get your hands around the first Windows Phone “phablet” you’re in luck: The Nokia Lumia 1520 is now available for pre-order on AT&T. Better yet, the phone costs $199.99 with a two-year contract.
$199.99 is a pretty standard, but I was actually expecting the 1520 to cost more, given the $299.99 starting price of the Lumia 1020. It’s a pleasant surprise to see AT&T and Nokia price the 1520 in line with most of its competition.
The phone is available in either glossy red, or a matte shade of black, white or yellow. The phone ships starting November 19 and will be available in AT&T stores November 22.
There’s no yellow option, but if you pre-order the phone from Microsoft you’ll get a free black flip cover and a $50 gift card to Microsoft’s app store.
And if you aren’t on AT&T, don’t give up hope. AT&T might be the exclusive carrier of the 1520, but Verizon is expected to offer a 5-inch Lumia 929 in the near future.
