McDonalds ponders in-store 3D printing for Happy Meal toys

3D printers are excellent at making little plastic figurines. McDonalds’ United Kingdom IT director Mark Fabes said that means the fast food chain could potentially manufacture Happy Meal toys in-store, dispensing the perfect toy to every child. It’s just an idea, but Fabes said he’s considering a range of applications for 3D printers.
