Amazon’s new “Login and Pay” lets users checkout at other retailers via their Amazon accounts

Amazon on Tuesday introducedLogin and Pay” technology that lets users log into other retailers’ sites, pay and checkout via their Amazon accounts. The idea is that shoppers don’t like creating new user accounts, and that when third-party sites let users log in with Amazon accounts they’ll be able to learn more about those customers than they would have otherwise. Merchants already using Login and Pay include in-flight Wi-Fi provider Gogo, and Autoplicity, among others.
