Opscode on Monday named Barry Crist CEO, replacing Mitch Hill who is stepping down due to a personal health issue, according to a company statement. For the past five months, Crist was executive vice president of enterprise — a key push for the company. Before that he was CEO of Likewise, now part of EMC’s (s emc) Isilon group,  and VP of application management at Mercury Interactive, now a division of Hewlett-Packard(s hpq).
