Chris Messina, famous as the inventor of the hashtag convention on Twitter, has left Google. Messina worked on the short-lived Google Buzz, and more recently on user experience design for Google+. He also helped create Google Developers. Messina has left Google after more than three and a half years to join San Francisco-based startup NeonMob and help it build a new digital platform for artists and collectors.
