The thing I’m most excited about for CrowdConf 2012 is showcasing customers who use crowdsourcing to solve important business problems. From bootstrapped startups to Fortune 500 companies, businesses of all sizes will share their lessons center stage.
Wordnik was one of our first customers back when CrowdFlower was a two-person company. Early on, we helped Wordnik use the crowd to check what they called “word personality.” Since then, they have grown tremendously, and I am excited to have Wordnik’s Lead Engineer, Will Fitzgerald, talk about how crowdsourcing has helped them since those early days.
But this is about much more than just CrowdFlower’s customers. CrowdConf is about hearing from everyone in the space, from crowdfunding to collective creativity to crisis relief. We are excited to be partnering with companies like Lionbridge and Crowdsource.com to bring a vast portfolio of companies to the agenda. The conference continues to attract larger enterprise companies – from Google to Twitter to eBay – to talk about how crowdsourcing is significantly changing the way they do business.
Whether you are a two-person team working out of your garage or a massive enterprise looking for new ways to manage big data, CrowdConf is a chance to learn, share and meet with other crowdsourcing businesses and customers alike.
I hope to see you at this year’s CrowdConf on Oct. 23, so we can continue to share stories that grow customer success.
