Industry Moves: ooVoo; Sharethrough; Adchemy; Yahoo

Some of the latest hirings and exits in brief from the world of digital media business…

ooVoo: The social video chat service has named Yuval Baharav CEO, and Paul Mattison COO and CFO. Philippe Schwartz, co-founder and formerly CEO of ooVoo, will remain as an advisor to the company. Baharav was previous founder and GM for Amdocs (NYSE: DOX) Cloud Services. No stranger to the CEO position, he previously led two start-up companies. Mattison previously co-founded and was CFO of MLM Information Services and earlier, served as CFO for MarketWatch.

Sharethrough: Hanz Kurdi has joined the company as senior director of publisher strategy and operations. He’ll be responsible for expanding publisher relationships. Most recently, he was VP of business development at Apture, the contextual search company acquired by Google.

Adchemy: Alexander Castro has signed on as VP of product strategy and management. Having previously worked at Amazon (NSDQ: AMZN) and Microsoft (NSDQ: MSFT), Castro most recently was VP and GM of Limelight (NSDQ: LLNW) Networks.

Yahoo: Vizeum digital manager Mark Gilleran will head Yahoo’s Ireland sales operations, working to UK and Ireland James Wildman.
