For data center fans everywhere, Emerson Network Power (s EMR) has some factoids for you. For example, did you know that if all 509,147 data centers worldwide went out 2.5 times (based on an average) for 134 minutes, it would cause 2,842,737 hours of downtime, equating to a total loss of $426 billion a year? That’s enough money to buy every person in Munich a yacht.
I bet you didn’t. Here’s more courtesy of Emerson’s new State of the Data Center 2011 report.
