France Telecom (NYSE: FTE) is reorganising its digital media division to be more closely aligned with its ad sales operations.
Dominic Collins, the CEO of Orange Digital, is now being made CEO of Unanimis, the digital sales house Orange bought in 2009, but with oversight of both units.
In doing so, he replaces Unanimis’ own president, Khalil Ibrahimi, and will report to Orange’s audience and ads EVP Stephanie Hospital.
Orange’s rationale: “Centralising Unanimis’ advertising and Orange Digital’s technological expertise will enable Orange to create a nimbler agency group focused on providing clients with creative advertising and delivery solutions as the digitisation and consumption of media on multiple screens accelerates.”
Ibrahim says: “I founded the Unanimis business 10 years ago and I leave it today with mixed emotions … It was always my intention to leave the company once we fully integrated with the Orange business.”
Former AutoTrader.co.uk group director Dominic Collins in 2010 became VP for Orange’s portal unit, which was then renamed Orange Digital.
