Connected devices can lead to greater sustainability. That’s one recurring theme in the New York Museum of Modern Art’s upcoming exhibit Talk to Me: Design and the Communication Between People and Objects.
While the show opens on Sunday, we got a sneak preview this week, and snapped these pics of some of the more energy-focused and eco-minded projects. Like the BugPlug, a little alien life form that manages your devices’ electricity use, and the Tio, a light switch made by Onzo that teaches kids not to waste energy. The exhibit itself was wired, too, and every art piece had its own Twitter hashtag — if you want to chat about (or with?) the BugPlug, it’s #ttmbugplug
