Join the Community! Media Corp.’s HollywoodLife has hired AOL’s Denise Warner as managing editor. At AOL (NYSE: AOL), Warner was one of the original employees at celebrity site PopEater and was most recently editor of that site.

Warner will have “editorial management” of, and the business’ style and beauty sites, overseeing the writing and reporting teams and working with editor-in-chief and president Bonnie Fuller on editorial strategy, content development, and traffic partnerships, the company tells us. Fuller, who is best known for her extremely successful tenure as editor at US Weekly, has led HollywoodLife since July 2009.

This is HollywoodLife’s second senior editorial hire this year. The business had hired former Newsday editor-in-chief John Mancini as news director in January and had tasked him with duties similar to those now being assigned to Warner. Mancini left HollywoodLife to join the Associated Press as an assistant managing editor earlier this month, according to his LinkedIn profile.
