– Demand Media: Crid Yu has joined as SVP of strategic partnerships, a new role at the company. He comes from Google (NSDQ: GOOG) where he held a variety of senior leadership positions over the past seven years. Most recently, he oversaw revenue and relations for the top 1000 strategic partners in Google’s US Display Business.
— eBay: eBay (NSDQ: EBAY) has hired Don Bradford to lead social commerce efforts as VP of social, AllThingsD reported. He’ll report to Dane Glasgow, VP of global product management. He had joined Yahoo (NSDQ: YHOO) last October as VP of communities; prior to that he was a long-term Microsoft (NSDQ: MSFT) employee.
— Lightbank: Bill Pescatello joins as principal for the investment fund started by Groupon co-founders Eric Lefkofsky and Brad Keywell. Most recently, Pescatello worked at NBCUniversal as VP and founding member of Peacock Equity Fund.
— Khan Academy: John Resig is leaving the Mozilla Foundation to join the online school. Resig worked with Mozilla for over four years, having first joined in 2007 as a javascript evangelist. He’s best known for creating the web’s most popular javascript library, jQuery.
