The parenting website Gurgle.com is the latest online property to launch a printed media adjunct.
Its bi-monthly Gurgle magazine will be produced by the custom publisher Media 10 and sold for £2.
Some 175,000 copies will be distributed through Gurgle’s owner Mothercare plus its Early Learning Centre subsidiary, with another 25,000 available for online order.
The idea: “focusing on the lighter side of parenting recognising the needs of modern mums to experience something which is fun”.
Gurgle tells us: “(We) eventually hope to roll out the proposition globally to some of the 49 countries which Mothercare currently operates in.”
