In the latest Righthaven news, the company appears to be moving forward with a new lawsuit filed yesterday, a week after a judge ruled that Righthaven can’t ask for domain names of the defendants it sues for copyright infringement. Our own Joe Mullin appeared on WNYC’s On The Media on NPR to discuss recent Righthaven developments, including who the company is suing and why. Later in the episode, Righthaven CEO Steve Gibson explains his company’s actions, insisting it is protecting ownership rights from content thieves and that it is serving the best interest of content owners.
