Zynga Hires Evri Founder Roseman To Lead New Seattle Office

Neil Roseman

Zynga continues to add prominent executives to its ranks. Its latest hire: Neil Roseman, the former CEO and founder of semantic web startup Evri, who will head up the social game company’s new Seattle office.

Roseman, an early VP of engineering at Amazon.com (NSDQ: AMZN) who is credited with developing products like search-inside-the-book and Amazon Unbox, left his position at Paul Allen-backed Evri in July 2009.

Zynga says he will initially focus on building a team of “top engineering and product development talent.” The company announced its plans to open up an office in Seattle in October.
