UK regional and local newspapers claim their online audience has grown by nearly a quarter in the last year – but digital revenue isn’t necessarily growing as fast.

Newsquest, in earnings for its U.S. parent Gannett (NYSE: GCI), says Q4 digital revenue was merely “up”, but doesn’t give figures.
