U.S. 2010 digital revenue: $1.36 billion

Snapshot: IAC says its network of sites — from Ask.com to Vimeo — reach nearly 250 million unique visitors a month. The business performed remarkably well in 2010, posting a 21 percent increase in overall sales after a down year in 2009. All of IAC’s major units reported double-digit growth in revenue.

Key digital move in 2010: IAC is Barry Diller, but in 2010, Diller stepped aside after 15 years as CEO to make way for Match.com President Greg Blatt. Anybody hoping that the company’s strategy would change, however, was disappointed, since Diller made it very clear he would still play a big role in running the company’s operations.
