How much of a break-out hit is LivingSocial’s daily deal of $10 for a $20 gift certificate? In 2010, LivingSocial’s most popular daily deal — $30 for $60 worth of wine on — was sold 14,366 times. By contrast, the (NSDQ: AMZN) deal had been purchased more than 900,000 times as of 3 p.m. PT. The comparison, though, is not exactly apples-to-apples because the deal was offered in select LivingSocial markets, while the deal is being marketed in all of them. Read on for LivingSocial’s biggest local deals of 2010:

1. $30 for $60 worth of wine from in multiple markets (14,366)

2. $20 for $40 of food at Sweetgreen in D.C. (10,406)

3. Discounted tickets for the Hudson Holiday winter spectacular in Denver (9,314)

4. $5 for Little Fockers tickets on Fandango in Los Angeles (8,944)

5. $6 for $12 of food at Mendocino Farms in Los Angeles (7,172)
