It’s that time of year again: time for Hollywood to celebrate its best movies, and time for its stars to show what they’ve got — in the closet, that is. Events like the Golden Globes, which will be presented by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and hosted by Ricky Gervais this Sunday, are as much about the glamour of the red carpet as they are about the actual awards.
That’s why we are not all that sad that once again, NBC (s GE) won’t be airing the actual awards show live online. After all, we can still catch all the red carpet action, thanks to multiple live streams. Here’s where to tune in:
AP Live will stream from the red carpet starting at 3:00 p.m. PST / 6:00 p.m. EST.
E!Online will stream straight to your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch, thanks to a dedicated iOS Red Carpet app tat can be downloaded for free in the iTunes Store.
NBC.com is promising some exclusive video footage around the event.
We’ll update this post with further links as they become available.
