Mobile Industry Moves: Google; appssavvy; NeoMedia


Google: John Hanke, a former head of Google (NSDQ: GOOG) Maps, is taking a new position inside the company, as the head of a new “incubator” to build products for the intersection between mobile, social and local. (via Forbes)

appssavvy: The mobile marketing company has appointment Rahul Daterao as CTO, a newly-created position. He joins from social publishing platform KickApps, where he was also CTO. (Release)

NeoMedia: The mobile barcode specialist has hired Bruce Braun as its new SVP in charge of sales and business development. He joins from GoldSpot media, where he was also responsible for sales and business development. He has previously also been the CEO of the Hyperfactory’s mobile analytics company, Agent M, as well as CEO of TMT Media. (Release)
