Today marks the introduction of GigaOM’s first Net:Work conference. The conference will examine the future of work, with topics ranging from the human cloud to new online collaboration tools and the management of a remote workforce. It’s for people who work like us, decentralized and connected through IM and online platforms, and the poor souls who have to manage us.
The fun starts at 8:25 a.m.PST at San Francisco’s Mission Bay Conference Center, and some of the speakers include Salesforce Chairman and CEO Marc Benioff, Google’s Bradley Horowitz, Elance President and CEO Fabio Rosati as well as Box.net CEO Aaron Levie. There are still a handful of tickets available, so if you’re in the area, by all means come on over. Can’t make it? No worries, we are also live streaming the entire event.
You can follow the live stream on GigaOM.com, or through the embed below. Please also check GigaOM.com/Collaboration for live blogging from the event, and follow it on Twitter through the hash tag #workconf.
