Industry Moves: Verizon; Apple; TeePee; Flash Networks

Verizon: Anthony Melone has been promoted to the role of CTO for Verizon Communications (NYSE: VZ). He had been the CTO of mobile division Verizon Wireless. Melone succeeds Shaygan Kheradpir, who retires this month. (release)

Apple: Graeme Devine has left a role in Apple’s iPhone Game Technologies division, where he was in charge of the company’s iOS gaming strategy. He has left to work on his own games and a replacement has not been announced. (via Kotaku)

TeePee: Darren Newnham has been named as the head of content for the games discovery startup. He has held a variety of senior roles at other mobile and gaming companies including Sega Europe, HMV (LSE: HMV) UK, O2 UK, T-Mobile International and Hutchinson 3G. (via email)

Flash Networks: Bryan Visser is the new senior VP of worldwide sales for Flash Networks, the mobile internet solutions provider. He has previously held the roles of VP and general manager EMEA for both ByteMobile and Openwave (NSDQ: OPWV). (via email)
