Industry Moves: Chomp; Samsung Mobile; AisleBuyer

Chomp: Actor and new media investor Ashton Kutcher is joining the app discovery startup Chomp as an advisor. Kevin Rose, the creator of Digg, is Chomp’s other advisor, and the two will help the startup build relationships, as well as contribute to the product and marketing strategies. Chomp is available as an app on the Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) store as well as a web service. [via Mashable]

Samsung Mobile: Keith O’Brien is the new head of content, and Batyr Bulat is the new marketing director for the UK division of Samsung Mobile. O’Brien will be responsible for ensuring mobile content delivery across different media including video-on-demand, music, ebooks, newspapers, magazines and games. He joins from FoneStarz, where he was director and general manager. Bulat joins from Unilever and will oversee the company’s “Smartphone for Everyone” strategy. [via Mobile News]

Aisle Buyer: The mobile checkout provider has appointed Mark “Moose” Farnham as its chief revenue officer. He joins from Columbian Home Products, where he had been CEO.
