Industry Moves: Taptu; OMVC; Adfonic; WHERE

Taptu: Mitch Lazar has been upped to CEO from president and COO. He was most recently managing director of Yahoo (NSDQ: YHOO) Mobile Europe. In 1997, he launched Turner’s mobile operations and led development for CNN and Cartoon Network’s mobile services.

Open Mobile Video Coalition: The OMVC elected LIN Media President and CEO Vincent L. Sadusky as its president. He succeeds Brandon Burgess, CEO of ION Media Networks, who will continue to serve on the executive committee as immediate past president.

Adfonic: The mobile ad marketer made one U.S.-based and two UK-based appointments: Jim McNamara has signed on as head of new business development. In London, Toni Davison joins from AOL (NYSE: AOL) as head of ad operations and Nicola Reed, formerly with TradeDoubler, is now head of marketing.

WHERE: Nataly Kogan is now VP of consumer experience, leading strategy for WHERE on mobile and Where.com. She previously worked at Microsoft’s FUSE Labs where she led web and mobile products. She also founded and served as CEO of the working mothers’ online community Work It, Mom!
