How much can NewTeeVee talk about dropping your cable subscription in favor of third-party services and technology? The answer is a lot. Below, please find the second episode of our original web series Cord Cutters!

This week, Janko tests the Xbox 360’s (s MSFT) value for cord cutters (hint: bring your wallet), then Ryan talks to Leonora Stevens, a San Francisco cord cutter who doesn’t miss Comcast (s CMCSA) but has yet to find new solutions for keeping up with her favorite Seattle sports teams. Finally, I plug the Dailymotion-exclusive web series Camera Obscura, a spooky horror series just right for the Halloween season.

Unfortunately, Ryan and Janko aren’t wearing matching polo shirts like they did last week, but I think you’ll all agree that it’s a tighter, faster package.

And when we say that we want to hear your stories of cord cutting, we really mean it! Email photos or video of your solutions for getting around a cable subscription to [email protected] (or our new Cord Cutters-specific address [email protected]). If you live in the San Francisco or Los Angeles area and don’t mind having one of us in your house, you and your setup could even get the personal treatment.

As always, we value your feedback whether in the comments, via email or on Twitter — and thanks for watching!
