Microsoft (NSDQ: MSFT) and BermanBraun have jointly developed another spin-off of Wonderwall, the hit celebrity site they launched a year-and-a-half ago. The two companies debuted Wonderwall Latino today, a new site which features news on Hispanic celebrities — all in Spanish. Although Wonderwall Latino is dominated by a Wonderwall-like “wall” of photos, the site’s design is somewhat different, and MSN and BermanBraun say they will be updating the look of the original Wonderwall site to “mirror” it next month.
Wonderwall Latino is the second spin-off of Wonderwall that Microsoft and BermanBruan have launched. Earlier this month, MSNBC.com and BermanBraun launched BLTWY, a celebrity-focused political site, which was an “extension” of Wonderwall.
Microsoft says that the initial Wonderwall site now receives an average of 11.3 million unique visitors a month. That’s up from the 8.1 million unique visitors the site claimed a month after it debuted.
