Industry Moves: Sprint; Movius; iVdopia

Sprint: Product development SVP Kevin Packingham is leaving the company, WSJ reports. The news comes as Sprint (NYSE: S) saw a trio of executive departures in July. Packingham had led development of the Evo 4G and upcoming Epic smartphones. Next, he’ll run another company in Kansas City. His team will now report to Steve Elfman, president of network operations and wholesale.

Movius: Ronaldo Venci has been hired as VP of sales of the CALA region, and Fabio de Almeida joins as sales director for the Caribbean, Central America and Mexico. Venci has previously held senior management positions with IBM, BellSouth International, and VeriSign (NSDQ: VRSN). De Almeida, who will report directly to Venci, has previously held senior sales and marketing positions at Sprint, BellSouth International and VeriSign.

iVdopia: The rich media mobile ads network has announced Jeffrey Hayzlett, former VP and CMO of Eastman Kodak, as a member of the company’s advisory board. He’s also the author of The Mirror Test: Is Your Business Really Breathing and was acknowledged by Ad Age as one of the top 10 c-level executive Twitterers.
