National Geographic Global Media: Ted Prince has been promoted to the new position of COO for NGGM. Prior to joining the company in 2003 as VP of business development for National Geographic Ventures, he was SVP of strategy and business development at AOL (NYSE: AOL).

HealthiNation: Matthew Pasternak has joined as VP of partnerships and market development. He previously spent 10 years at IRI in various roles, including president of the company’s Latin American operations. He also led sales at video ad platform Klipmart, which was acquired by DoubleClick in 2006.

TagMan: Wendy Zenchyshyn and Aaron Gragg have joined as VPs to lead business development and sales, respectively. Zenchyshyn previously was director of strategic partnerships for Enquisite Search Analytics, while Gragg comes from WebTrends, where he was a strategic account executive.

[x + 1]: Two new hires and a promotion: Christopher Black is now VP of client solutions and Leqis Steckler is director of client strategy. Ben Riley has been promoted to senior manager of client solutions from media sales executive. With two decades of media experience, Black comes form Sears Media Holdings, where he was divisional VP of media services. Steckler previously was director of strategy/business development at Media6Degrees.

Buzzmedia: Mike Hess and Gillian Sheldon have joined as editors to lead celebrity content, reporting to Mike Poration, SVP of programming. Hess comes from AOL’s PopEater, where he was managing editor. Sheldon was founding supervising producer at
