Supercomputing for Climate Change: Datacenter Knowledge reports that the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) started construction on a new data center in Cheyenne, Wyoming that will house one of the world’s most powerful supercomputers and will be focused on research on climate change. Called the NCAR-Wyoming Supercomputing Center.
