Sirius XM (NSDQ: SIRI) adds an Android app to its subscription arsenal just in time for the long holiday weekend. As is the case with the iPhone and BlackBerry versions released earlier, Android users get seven days to try it for free but must subscribe to the sat radio service’s Premium Online service to continue using it. That runs $2.99 a month extra for sat radio subs or $12.95 as a standalone; both include access to the smartphone apps. But — and this is a capital B for some people — the smartphone channel lineup doesn’t cover everything on satellite or online. Howard Stern is among the missing so check the channel lineup carefully. Details here; release here.
