Google Clarifies: It Wasn’t The Nexus One That Failed, It Was The Store

Several reports over the past few weeks said Google’s Nexus One was an utter failure because Sprint and Verizon Wireless were no longer going to sell it.

But Google (NSDQ: GOOG) clarified today that it wasn’t the phone that people didn’t like, it was the way they were trying to sell them direct to consumers from Google.com/phone.
