So the iPad has finally arrived. So far, it seems to be a solid hit, with an estimated (guest-imated?) 700,000 sold in its first weekend. At least one analyst now thinks Apple will sell 5 million iPads in the first 12 months. As was to be expected, though, there were some opening-night glitches. Shares of Apple (AAPL) shot up from the opening bell on the strong weekend sales but by mid-morning they had settled down a bit.
