BSkyB (NYSE: BSY) is planning to upgrade its Sky Sports Live Football Score Centre iPhone app “in the next few months” to include video highlights of goals from Premier League matches, C21 says.

Sky mobile head Emma Lloyd says the satcaster will post the clips before incidents are aired on Match Of The Day on Saturday evening – but users will have to pay either a day or month pass.

The impressive Sky Mobile TV app, offering eight live sport and news channels including ESPN (NYSE: DIS), is currently doing a great job of convincing me to pay its £6-a-month access fee by offering a three-month free trial.

The Sky News app this week passed a million downloads and Sky’s six-strong app line-up also includes Sky+ remote recording. Downloads themselves for all apps is free.

  1. Why is this app not available in Canada?
    We have acess to a similar app called Sky Sports Live Score Football – International
    Its not free (3$) and dates back to Sept. 2009
    And there is not highlights option or subscription. booooo.

    what alternative do i have if i want EPL highlights on my iphone from canada. I dont mind paying if its good stuff.
