Long-time AOL (NYSE: AOL) executive Eric Bosco is joining comScore (NSDQ: SCOR) as the measurement company’s chief product officer. Bosco had been at AOL since 1996 and had held a number of high-profile roles, including chief product and U.S. operations officer for Platform-A for almost two years and nine years as VP of community and communications products, where he managed all of AOL’s community and communications products including AIM and e-mail. Bosco’s LinkedIn profile shows that he left AOL in October.
One of the last major initiatives he worked on before the changes at the top of AOL was a self-serve marketplace exchange called BidPlace. Sources say that operation no longer exists, and AOL president Jeff Levick has also said that the company is not so hot on the ad exchange model.
