OneForty, the Twitter app directory and marketplace started by Twitter for Dummies author Laura Fitton, has raised $1.6 million in a funding round, according to an SEC filing. No word on who the funding comes from, although the filing lists Flybridge Capital Partners’ Jeffrey Bussgang as a director. The site, which launched earlier this fall, provides a central place to find Twitter apps; users can rate them and also purchase those that are for sale. OneForty takes a cut of the sale price. We reached out to Fitton this morning when we spotted the filing but have still not heard back. She tells Xconomy, however, that the company will be sharing “some really cool company news” in early January.
