Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard for Tablets

MS Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard

A hot topic when it comes to slates is the wireless keyboard. As handy as slates can be, there are always times when you wish you had a decent mobile keyboard to tap on for text entry. There aren’t many mobile keyboard options, so the Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard 6000 from Microsoft is worth a look.

What sets this keyboard apart is the curvy design of the keyboard, to provide a more ergonomic typing experience. Microsoft had to do something to address ergonomics, as the keyboard is extremely thin for easy transport. It doesn’t fold up for storage, so the company makes it as thin as possible.

There’s a unique number pad that will make mobile spreadsheet jockeys happy. This 10-key pad is also Bluetooth, and comes with a pouch for transport. The keyboard is $90, which is expensive, but I found it as cheap as $65 online. It comes with the number pad. Does this look useful to you? Would you throw this in your gear bag to take with you for use with a UMPC or small netbook?
