Here are some of today’s phone conversations I enjoyed reading or viewing on the web, along with some brief thoughts:
iCan’t deal with parenthesis in MMS (Gear Live) — Although Droid Does many things, it seems to be struggling with MMS more than the shield generators on Hoth in the winter season. The bug revolves around those pesky parentheses holding tight to area codes — they’re nothing but trouble to the Droid. You’ll want to remove them in both MMS messages and contact records too.
Verizon’s iPhone coming next year (GigaOm) — I still think that with strong Android handsets, Verizon doesn’t need an iPhone. But this is the second report in five days of an iPhone coming to Big Red in 2010, so maybe this rumor has legs.
Sync Android with Outlook (the::unwired) — Think Android only synchronizes over the air to the cloud? I actually did, but now I know about HTC Sync for the Magic, Tattoo and Hero. With the software, you can sync your Android handset directly to Microsoft Outlook if you’re so inclined. The latest version includes synching pics of your contacts too.
