Industry Moves: BBC FM&T Marketer; PPA’s COO Departs; CBS Comms Director, PlayerX

BBC: Simon Lloyd, the senior marketing director EMEA at mobile maker Palm (NSDQ: PALM), has joined the BBC as director of marketing, comms and audiences (MC&A) for the Future, Media & Technology department. He joins the FM&T board and replaces Simon Gunning who leaves at the end of the year. From Mediaweek.

PPA: The Periodical Publishers’ Association’s COO Sarah Tunstall will leave the trade body at the end of the year to join the digital agency Fresh Egg as commercial director. Tunstall has been running the business on a de factor basis since PPA Jonathan Shephard left in September. From Mediaweek.

CBS: Luke Fredberg has started work as CBS’s director of international corporate comms, based in CBS (NYSE: CBS) Interactive’s London offices.

PlayerX: The mobile games firm’s biz dev head, PR man and polymath Monty Munford, now based in Goa following PlayerX’s acquisition by Zed, is leaving. He wants to connect UK and Indian mobile content firms but is also working on a mobile movie project and lending his voice to an upcoming film. Via ME.
