The wait is over. Today, the Obama administration revealed the list of 100 projects that are getting a slice of $3.4 billion smart grid stimulus pie. Some of the big winners in the rarefied $200 million club include Baltimore Gas & Electric, Duke Energy and PECO, all of which will use the funds, in part, to deploy millions of smart meters. Hear that? It’s the sound of smart meter firms gearing up for more prosperous quarters to come.
