NBC Universal (NYSE: GE) paid $150 million in May 2008 for a 26% stake in NDTV Networks Plc., a holding company for the non-news businesses of broadcaster NDTV Ltd. Now, a little more than a year later, the American media firm is selling the stake back to NDTV. And how much is it getting paid? Apparently $25 million, according to a Mint story that based the information on a report by BusinessInsider.com.
The numbers will likely reflect in NDTV’s figures a couple of quarters from now.
Both NDTV and NBC declined to comment for the Mint story.
