Time Warner To Start Selling Clearwire’s WiMax Dec. 1

Add *Time Warner Cable* to the list of companies reselling Clearwire’s wireless broadband network. The cable operator said today that it will start selling WiMax in the Charlotte area on Dec. 1, reports the Charlotte Observer.

Time Warner (NYSE: TWX), which is a minority owner of Clearwire (NSDQ: CLWR), joins other stakeholders Comcast and Sprint in selling the company’s services in some markets. Prices for the service, which will be called “Road Runner 4G,” will start at $40 a month for those who have at least one other Time Warner Cable (NYSE: TWC) service. The service will offer speeds up to 6 GB per second.
