If a report appears that covers the increase of thumb injuries globally we know where to put the blame, according to a survey released by the CTIA. Their latest figure shows that 4.1 billion text messages were thumbed per day over the first half of 2009. That is a tremendous number of characters the world’s thumbs are tapping out each and every day.
The new survey also shows that during the same period over 6.4 billion minutes were used on phones. It definitely appears that we’re all either texting or talking all day, every day.
